Si Tew – Breathe (feat. Molly) Official music video.

Eclectic producer, and dear friend of Atjazz Record Company, Si Tew returns from remixing the likes of Aloe Blacc and The Bamboos with a collaboration featuring the incredibly talented vocalist Molly to produce this moody sonic output. The exciting next step on his relationship with ARCo which began in 2009.

Coarse and detailed downbeat rhythms set the pace for the atmospheric number “Breathe” where it is pushed further into the realm of the ethereal by a delicate and lingering vocal that acts as a perfect counterpoint to the dark vibe of the piece.

Then up steps the master Martin Atjazz, alongside one of his partners in production TrueSelf (fresh off the worldwide release of his “The Good Cause” project), who keep the delightfully pitched vocal and layer up a hip-shaker of a melody underneath to keep the you moving. I dare you not to tap your foot to this one.

Si Tew then returns to the fray with a thoughtful remix which cleverly keeps the mood of the original cut but takes the otherworldly effect of Molly’s sweet vocal to the next level. A smooth and contemplative effort to close out a deep and pensive release.

Your ears will thank you!

Atjazz Record Company is proud to embark on an exciting journey with one of South Africa’s newest talents, Bruce Loko. Kicking off in spine-tingling style with “In My Zone”, Loko floats in effortlessly over this silky smooth beat that draws you blissfully into his world. Then he picks things up and teases us a little more with the deeper, earthier feel of “Plutonic Cut”. A step further on the journey and “Shadow People” adds a more insistent, crunchier vibe to proceedings, before we crescendo with the industrial, percussive sound of the Lava Cut of “Shadow People”.

Atjazz & Jullian Gomes – Here to Stay (Feat. Zano)

Here to Stay is taken from the album ‘The Gift The Curse’

Martin Atjazz & Jullian Gomes have put together what is an incredible electronic dance album accompanied by some of the industries most sought after vocalists. An album born out of their love of music, this block of well-crafted work oozes honesty and forward thinking. Not being bogged down with industry demands. They have made an album that Martin describes as ‘us on a plate’. The styling behind this sonic masterpiece begins with an instrumental song entitled ‘Poor Man’, a song reflecting the hardships of surviving on making emotional and deep dance music. Then we’re straight into the vocal realm with ‘Philosophy’, this soulful slider with vocals performed by Osunlade outlines the difficulties in relationships within the music industry and further afield when people maybe not be sharing the same ‘Philosophy’. From soulful vocal drenched songs such as ‘Turn Back To You’ featuring house hero Robert Owens play through, we start to really get a grounded feel to what this album is about, ‘Two guys making music for the right reasons’. Dark and edgy songs like ‘White Rose’ & ‘Overshadowed’ seem to complete this technically polished album and whatever you like about house music, you’ll find something here for your taste. An incredible electronic body of work which tells an emotional story, of both Atjazz & Jullian Gomes’ lengthy journey through this musical jungle.

Atjazz. Amalia. One (Official Music Video)

From the depths of Central African Republic comes an amazing musical maestro, we’re proud to bring you the unmistakable sound of
Mr. Boddhi Satva.

We really couldn’t leave this beautiful song alone for any longer with Boddhi complaining that he “really wanted to remix this one!”, so we had to make it happen. The original song taken from Atjazz’s Full Circle long player features the awesome vocals of Amalia and the mellow production skills of label honcho Atjazz. Boddhi Satva has stripped down the original to its bare vocals and started his remix production from scratch to bring forward his signature low swung sound. Oozing with soul & leaving us plenty of space to listen, these remixes are a fine addition to our catalogue and we are truly blessed once again to have such amazing musical minds join the ranks on our journey into the deeper realms.

We also include an Atjazz beat edit of Boddhi’s Dilla Tribute Edit plus the original Album Version & the scratchy Original Demo Instrumental which FYI was the actual version sent to Amalia for laying down her vocals, we liked it’s original vibe, it’s rough, it’s got soul…
