‘All I Ever Wanted’ is the 4th single from Magic Number’s sophomore album ‘Badly Written Songs’. The original, as we know by now, is an 80s-tinged pop crossover number loaded with class, it nods to those Synth-Wave classics and is beautifully topped off with the gorgeous vocal tones of Sophia Marshall.

Considering their long history of musical antics together (and there have been many!), it seemed fitting to have Atjazz jump on remix detail initially. Atjazz smooths things out with his usual sound set of layered Rhodes, Moog, Poly-Synths and other twiddly noise-making machines. Martin firmly nails these shimmering remixes with clear beat production and modern stylings.

This is the first in a long series of reworks for this beautifully colourful album. Keep your ears open and your eyes peeled for more.

Uk house don Atjazz squirrelled away his alternative versions of Tracks 1-10 and has just launched it to the world with an unexpected bang!.

Initially released as single entities over a 10 month period then remastered and released as the album ‘Mix 1’. This second part to his series of 3 albums is a more introvert outing and concentrates the tracks into a more collected attitude.
