This solid release includes four of the house scenes most respected names on remix duties. 1000 Memories is a firm favourite from Jullian’s debut album Late Dreamer and features the wonderful voice of Sio. The original is lush to say the least but is as to be expected backed up by Jullian’s low-swung groove.
Jullian’s wish list for potential remixers was a touch shocking but we managed to pull it out of the bag and the outcome is pure class. Yoruba Records main man Osunlade steps in with his trademark Yoruba Soul sound layering excellent synthesizer leads and rolling out his unmistakable beats that carry 1000 Memories on a true spiritual journey.
Kaytronik a man who is at the top of his production game brings a sonic masterpiece to the table his strictly solid Karizmaesque beats punch while his instrumentation takes the remix a little softer and warmer don’t worry he’s still chopping up vocals and dubbing things out in his usual DJ manner. Fred Everything goes in hard a man who just gives pure quality in all aspects of his work and this will only see you well as a firm fixture in your box real deep house for those who know it! Jamie ‘TrueSelf’ Radford has brought together these amazing artists to celebrate the memory of Frazer McDermott who sadly lost his battle to an optic nerve glioma on the 13th of September 2011.
Frazers House is a charity that aims to help parents with accommodation and a place to rest whilst their children are undergoing probably the most traumatic times of their lives. It is also to enable their parents to be close to their children in time of critical hospital care. Frazer was a very special human being who loved to paint and draw even though his eyesight was heavily affected by his condition. He also loved and listened to music everyday where he would join in on his guitar strumming away for hours on end. Frazer was an inspiration to many and always optimistic a very positive young man who loved to joke and laugh.
This project, which has been overseen, guided and fully supported by Martin Atjazz, has allowed us as a label to acknowledge and contribute to a charity that is very close to our hearts.
100% of the sales profits generated from both the artists and record label will be donated to Frazers House Charity.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been involved in this beautiful project for their selfless generosity and support.

The Lab is our weekly office rave up where we live stream some of the biggest and best names in dance music from genres across the board. This week guarantees to be special as we welcome two true house music masters in the form of Atjazz and Karizma.
Fresh from their recent performance at Southport Weekender and playing under their collaboration name EXIST, the two have combined their love, knowledge and vibe impeccably to deliver an epic, high energy journey of sonics. EXIST brings a stripped back sound, combining modern broken beats with soulful vocals and they play the whole thing live (the Lab is on 3 CDJs but even then it’s as live as they can be.)
Atjazz was one of the forerunners of the broken beat and nu-jazz scene, producing tracks like ‘Touch The Sun’. Recent collaborations with the likes of Osunlade have combined soul, jazz-funk and africanism into the deepest house grooves. You can check them out on his weekly ‘Your Soul’ podcast.
Karizma aka Kaytronik is a house music artist in the purist form. His back catalogue includes releases on the likes of R2 Records, Objektivity and Strictly Rhythm while the man has worked with legends like Kenny Dope, Roy Ayers and even J Dilla.
