Just when you thought it was safe to play conscientious hip hop, Clyde Beats and ‘Hello World (feat. OVEOUS)’ comes along.

The release is a masterful blend of contrasting elements, with OVEOUS’ spiritual and uplifting lyrics served up over the dark, aggressive beats of Clyde Beats. The result is a sonic experience that’s both powerful and thought-provoking, with the two artists coming together to create a unique sound that’s both hard-hitting and inspiring.

Described by some as a renaissance artist, OVEOUS is a true street poet, singer, rapper, DJ and producer and the superlative rhymes he lays over Clyde Beats’ dark, yet high-end production is going to drive you to visit any leading music streaming or download service now.

Clyde Beats – Risiing Up (feat. Amalia)

“Extra! Extra! Read all about it!”. 21 years after his massive broken beat slammer ‘SERVE IT UP (FEAT. CAPITOL A.)’ The Jerk-Beat Master ‘Clyde Beats’ returns with his new long player.

Pre-Order: Hyper Reality 2 (An English Gentleman)
•  Stream & Download: Rising Up (feat. Amalia)

Stepping back into the future, ‘Rising Up (feat. ‘Amalia’)’ is Clyde Beats’ premier single from his new album ‘Hyper Reality 2 (An English Gentleman)’.

As the title suggests, ‘Rising Up’ documents a quest for positive living. Amalia’s sassy delivery complements Clyde Beats’ somewhat retro hip-hop production incredibly well. The result is a rewarding tune you’ll want to turn up loud and play on repeat.

From a boom-bap-type beat, a TB303 riff and a very 80s-sounding bassline, live horns by Clyde Beats’ long-time collaborator, ‘Octavio N. Santos’, juxtapose this very feel-good tune.

“Having followed Amalia’s astounding career, the opportunity to work with her was an appealing one, to say the least”, mused Clyde Beats. “With many of my musical values hailing from the early 90s, I thought ‘Amalia’ and I could revisit that era together. I’m delighted I invited her because her performance is simply outstanding. This is a tune I’m very proud to release”, he concluded.

Inkswel – Astral Love (SMBD & Atjazz Remixes)

The latest single from Inkwel’s outstanding “Astral Love” LP. An album abundant with wondrous tunes, its title song has been remixed with potency by none other than our very own SMBD.

• Stream & Download: https://orcd.co/arc196sd3

Ruff and tough, as you’d be right to assume, SMBD’s coarse grooves form an unconventional, yet harmonious partnership with the spiritual chants of DWIGHT TRIBLE’S vocals. The result is a wonky deep-house tune that’s rather attractive in build. ATJAZZ contributes a deep, smooth, yet much more relaxing vibe, rounding off this already brilliant release with a sleek serving of modern soul.

OYOBI – Mi Ritmo (feat. Malo Malo)

“Mi Ritmo, an awesome Latin-Jazz collaboration with Danny G Felix and Malo Malo and taken from the epic debut album by Australian super-trio OYOBI, entitled TRANSCENDENCE.

Vincent Sebastian, Adam Ventoura & Daniel Pliner (OYOBI) team up with Danny G Felix and his Colombian Orchestra Malo Malo on Mi Ritmo and elevate this wonderful piece of modern Latin-Jazz-Dance to great heights. Layers upon layers of beautiful lively percussion, horns, piano & bass make this a very exciting start to what is turning out to be an intoxicating musical journey.

Remix detail from OYOBI Producer VINCENT SEBASTIAN who drops a more 4×4 feel to the original song design with great elegance, ROSARIO takes things really deep, super-deep even, seriously, this is such proper deep house!, and last but not least NICOLE TANIA stirs things right up with this modern take where 808 drums lead the way. Something you can really get your teeth into!

(V. Sebastian, A. Ventoura, D. Pliner, D. Goodacre)
Produced by Vincent Sebastian and Oyobi

Inkswel – Trippin’ (feat. Oliver Night)

The incredible INKSWEL Joins ARCo. with a stunning 14 song album entitled ASTRAL LOVE. We bring you his first slice of the pie in the form of TRIPPIN’ which features the awesome vocal-tones of OLIVER NIGHT who brings his rhythmic soul to the table. Drifting in-between nu-soul & house this really does have the funk we all need!

Inskwel’s beat production and sample-bending is something you’ll know from his previous albums on BBE / SONAR KOLLEKTIV / OYE RECORDS BERLIN and his superb EPs with BOOGIE ANGST / RUSH HOUR to name just a few labels he has loaded up with his music. This single & full album is a definite continuation of his exploration of sound.

We are overjoyed to be representing Julian ‘Inskwel’ Habib and his amazing team of contributors on this brilliant album.

Atjazz – The Only One (feat. Sarai Jazz)

A wonderful collaboration between one of the industry’s mainstays ATJAZZ and the brilliant SARAI JAZZ on vocals. Sultry Space-Soul-House that oozes sophistication but has the Atjazz bump you need to move your feet.

• Stream & Download

This is a warming piece that has been lovingly remixed by some of Atjazz’s favourite scientists of sound. THE ONLY ONE has been brought into a new light by 3 stellar gents, long time collaborator CLYDE, Australia’s incredible beat machine INKSWEL & the sweet polish of PEACEY. The guys all bring their trademark sound to offer up styles to suit all.

Ben Marc, The “Wait” is over! Seriously dubby music from a master of sound.

From the streets of Birmingham, via collaborations with names such as Jose James, Dizzee Rascal and ARCo supporter Gilles Peterson, to the studios of Derbyshire, Atjazz Record Company is proud to present our debut release from talented artist and remixer Ben Marc: Wait.

IMG_0309 copy

Giving us a taste of the style that fans have come to know from Ben we start with “Wait”, a tranquillising vocal note that resounds and reverberates over a layered and counterpointed percussive beat, dotted with elegant notes and snaps of melody.

Stepping further into Ben’s background as a fan of reggae & dub with “Safe Sounds”, a pressing hook slowly builds and we develop a deeper understanding of the intricate levels of production as the track unfolds in our ears and works it way through our senses.

We couldn’t let this release go by without giving it the full remix treatment and Atjazz duly obliges with the first effort which, in true style, pays homage to the original whilst putting a classic, rhythmic jazz-infused tint on proceedings.

Finally, prolific artist Si Tew arrives with his interpretation of the cut.  In typical Si Tew style his dub is more pensive and deeper than the usual fare and it’s all the more impressive for it.  With its light melodic notes and bursts of bass this is a perfect note on which to complete an exciting debut.

Strictly abstract music from the best in the BIZZ!

Yota One…

The first compilation from the Years Of The Abstract series features ten wonderful peices of music made by five very talented producers, Mizgir, Atjazz, Jonatan Backelie, Si Tew & Sygaire. Years Of The Abstract is a project based on modern music production with total respect of freedom for the writers involved.

A little about the artists & their creations on Yota One.

Beamed to us from another planet, Mizgir’s sound is more than a galactic space journey, as it is also very organic to the ear. With a nod to traditional Indian instruments seamlessly melding with amazing technical production accuracy “Surya” & “Ya-Rus” offer up layers of distant haunting vocal bites which breathe fresh air into what is becoming a claustrophobic musical scene.

Swerving to the side of his normal output, Atjazz has made up a musical soup of non-genre specific sound. Emptying his mind and letting the sound flow, “Khora” and “Khora Rhythm” set sail with analogue sequences utilising the amazing Korg Monopoly keyboard for a majority of the musical elements. Distant echoes of what has just been create a sound-scape that backs up some very interesting rhythm programming.

The multi talented instrumentalist, singer and beat-smith Jonatan Backelie takes a healthy side step from the centre with his amazing offerings, “Rave To The Bottom” & “StepTo The Bottom” immediately setting out their intentions of lighting up any well-seasoned dance-floor. These songs are really not for the faint hearted as Jonatan peppers the production with 8 bit synth swatches that are not afraid to sit right out front. The intense work put into these songs is obvious.

Strong and perfectly produced powerful downbeat music from Si Tew. “Cut” & “Run” have a very serious tone and while still glitchy in their build they never once loose control. These two songs are born from emotional difficulties and are very vibrant pieces of work. Si’s typically heavy music is of course backed up by some of his trademark sturdy beat-bones.

Roskow Kretschmann, or otherwise known as Sygaire, Intega and Kosma was one of the founding members and main producers of the world famous “Jazzanova“. His work on their “In-Between” album is something of a world wonder. This man is an amazing studio workman and incredibly humble to boot. “Dschumm” & “Dschumm (Enzo Elia Neukölln Boulevard Remix) are a testament to how much work studio producers put into their work, the detail and thought behind these 2 wonders is inspiring.

Atjazz & Jullian Gomes come to the end of the production path with their incredible album.

Both Atjazz & Jullian Gomes have made 1 last special to be released 7th November on Traxsource. Out Of My Life (feat. Bucie) is the last link in the chain for The Gift The Curse. Maybe the most anticipated song from the album yet. We’ll let you decide which dance-floor filler fills the dance-floor!

https://soundcloud.com/atjazz/sets/atjazz-jullian-gomes-out-of-my-life-feat-bucie

The last brick in the massive wall of sound that is “The Gift The Curse”. Out Of My Life is an exclusive, never heard before addition to the amazing debut album from Atjazz & Jullian Gomes. Looking to raise the bar even more they have this time bumped shoulders with South Africa’s one and only Bucie, a very well respected siren known for her amazing and touching work with Black Coffee, Bucie has carved herself a solid niche in her market. Out Of My Life is a techy soul house number following in the footsteps of their well polished album, superb subs, drums and floating chords allow this record to be played in any house set. Soft yet tough throughout it seems this latest collaboration will suit many dance music tastes and as per usual, no remixes on this project, just original versions to keep their individual sound rock solid.
